About Us

Hello!

I’m Kath Borer Executive Director and Founder of CreateED.

I'm a community music teacher and have a real passion for helping children and young people to learn through music and dance. It's a real privilege to watch them grow in confidence and ability whilst they have fun with peers, friends and family.

With over 15 years of experience I know what a positive impact music and dance can have on health and well-being, speech and language and social skills. Unfortunately in the South East free and or accessible music and dance sessions available to children and young people with additional physical, educational, emotional and or social needs are few and far between.

This gap in provision and having led and worked on many projects for children and young people motivated me to set up a community interest company.

Supported by fantastic Board Members who have over 40 years of accumulated experience in working with mainstream schools, special schools and supporting children and young people from diverse backgrounds CreateED came to life.
